1. Scope of application
The website www.valou.ceramics.com and all the products available for sale on the website are the exclusive property of valou. These terms and conditions of sales apply to all the transactions made for the purchase of valou products. By confirming the order, the purchaser expressly declares to have read and accepted the content of these terms and conditions of sales.
The present version of the terms and conditions of sales applies as soon as the website www.valou.ceramics.com is online. valou can change them at any time.
2. valou products
All the products on sale on www.valou.ceramics.com are unique and handmade by valou
In light of the unique and handmade character of each product, small and minor differences may occur between the same products available on www.valou.ceramics.com. By ordering valouproducts, the purchaser is aware of that and accept it.
3. Conclusion of the contract
All the products on sale on www.valou.ceramics.com are limited to the available stocks mentioned on the website.
The contract between the purchaser and valou comes into effect after the purchase confirmation and the receipt of payment by valou. Until the receipt of payment, valouremains owner of the products.
The purchaser may not, under any circumstances, change or cancel the order after the conclusion of the contract. Customized orders cannot be changed after the purchase confirmation.
4. Sales price
The selling price of the products on sale on www.valou.ceramics.com are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF).
The price displayed on the site www.valou.ceramics.com corresponds to the price due by the buyer after the confirmation of the purchase. The prices displayed on the site can be freely modified by valou.
The delivery costs of valou products are not included in the prices displayed on www.valou.ceramics.com. These are additional costs, in charge of the buyer, which are added to the order at the time of payment (see art. 6 below).

6. Use of valou products
valouproducts are exclusively destinated to private use.
Commercial use of valou products, in particular resale, is only possible with the prior consent of valou. A request must be sent to valou.ceramics@gmail.com.

7. Shipping methods
Orders placed on www.valou.ceramics.com can be picked up in person by the buyer at the address of valou (Rue du Mûrier 15, 1820 Montreux). The buyer shall contact valou at the address valou.ceramics@gmail.com to agree on a delivery date.
valou products are shipped by postal mail (Poste CH) to the address indicated by the buyer at the time of the order confirmation.
Packages are sent by "economy" mail (not priority). The tracking of the parcels is only possible for the products sent in Switzerland. On the other hand, parcels sent abroad are not tracked by valou. A request for tracking must be sent to valou.ceramics@gmail.com within 48 hours after the confirmation of the order.
By confirming his order, the buyer attests that the delivery address indicated is correct. In the event of incorrect personal details being provided by the buyer, preventing the delivery of the ordered products, valou assumes no responsibility. The buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
8. Delivery costs
The delivery costs of the products ordered on www.valou.ceramics.com are charged to the buyer. The same applies to any cost regarding the shipment (custom costs for example)
The delivery costs vary according to the delivery address:
- Delivery costs for Switzerland: 9 CHF
- Delivery costs for EU/EFTA/UK: 25 CHF
- Delivery costs outside the EU/EFTA/UK: 30 CHF
9. Delivery time
The delivery time for all products in stock on www.valou.ceramics.com is 7 days from the receipt of payment.
The delivery time for customized orders may vary according to the request of the buyer (minimum 30 days from the receipt of payment). The buyer will be personally informed by valou of the progress of his order and the delivery time.
The above-mentioned delivery times are for information purposes only and are not binding for valou. The buyer cannot refuse delivery or cancel the contract if the delivery time is longer than the above-mentioned time indications.
10. Liability
Upon conclusion of the contract, the buyer assumes the entire risk of loss or damage of the ordered products.
11. Returns and exchanges
The products ordered on www.valou.ceramics.com are neither returned nor exchanged.
12. Warranties for defects
valou excludes any warranty due to defects following the purchase of products on the website www.valou.ceramics.com.
13. Data protection
All personal data collected as a result of purchases made on the site www.valou.ceramics.com are treated confidentially and in accordance with legal provisions (cf. bellow private policy).

In the event of any dispute arising in connection with these general terms and conditions of sale, the place of jurisdiction is the address of valou in Montreux, Switzerland. Swiss law is applicable.

When you place an order on www.valou.ceramics.com, personal data such as your name, address and e-mail address are collected and processed.
